(ISAP) Indigenous Situational Awareness Program
The Indigenous Situational Awareness program is a way where we can bridge the relationship between a safe land based access and the resurgence of indigenous peoples wanting to reconnect to landscape through practical and experiential ways. We teamed up with experienced backpackers, mountaineers, outfitters, and land based practitioners to develop an indigenous land based program that teaches a variety of fundamental and practical land based skills from an Indigenous paradigm. This program hosts and offers a variety of different workshops that very from basic camping, basic first aid, land navigation, bush craft, and seasonal survival training. This program offers a way for participants to learn acquire knowledge that is practical and can be put to use in every outdoor situation.
